“The solar energy sector is professionalizing. Players and projects are getting bigger, interests are increasing, we have to think better about the impact on the environment, nature, society and the energy network. Solar energy should remain a solution and not become a problem. That is why we are launching Everday, a new company focused on Solar Asset Management: we protect the positive returns of solar projects,” says Bas IJpelaar, Commercial Manager Everday.
Powering our society on sustainable energy, it’s possible. But that does not mean we can drop our focus. Now it’s time to ensure that the progress that has been made can prove its worth. Investing in operating solar projects sustainably is necessary. This increases the positive return on investments in solar projects Financially profitable, operationally reliable and socially desirable are central to Everday’s philosophy and working method.
Everday is a spin-off of KiesZon, which is part of the Greenchoice group. This background means that it has 10 years of experience in operating solar projects and immediately has more than 250 installations – good for almost 1 million panels and a capacity of 300MW – in its Solar Asset Management portfolio. This portfolio, which is equivalent to the consumption of more than 75,000 average Dutch households, will be expanded with solar project realized by third parties.
Bas IJpelaar, Commercial Manager Everday, states, “Solar Asset Management is essential for the next step in the energy transition in the Netherlands. What has been achieved must be maintained in order to be able to continue to operate them safely and profitably. In addition, attention to energy generation and an increase in the positive return is necessary in order to sustainably safeguard the investments made. Everday looks at the big picture; financial, legal, technical, the changing environment and stakeholders. Because progress is only made if making the better choice is easy and attractive. We have experience with every aspect of managing a PV system and know who needs to be involved and how.”
“Everday does this every day with an inexhaustible commitment to positive returns from PV systems,” says Frederik van Asbeck, O&M Manager at Everday. “We have an unstoppable ambition to constantly devise new ways to optimally use the sun’s energy, within the challenges that arise in the market. Our partners can benefit every day from our many years of experience, expertise and service. With Everday we can make the transition to sustainable energy permanent.”
